Do you ever find your colored or midway complete versions look better than the final versions? If I had your art skills I'd probably be constantly second guessing if I'm making something better or worse with different details. But your art always seems pretty complete, and I like almost all of it.

looks like stained glass. Imagine if the ground was made of stained glass, or everything was stained glass. It'd be so smooth to walk around on if its a semi flat surface, but then for rough or sharp things it would be like stepping on legos

Yeah I'm with you, I don't trust remakes or ports at all. It's either really good but different, or it's just an abortion that ruins and replaces the original not by choice. A lot of the enhanced ports like Devil may cry HD collection, FFX, and Xenoblade all have ups and downs. Like in Devil may cry for instance there are missing effects all throughout the game, because they can't properly emulate the PS2, so they instead just leave them out or replace them with new ones that don't really fit. It sucks though because you're right, some games are way too expensive to get a hold of now and don't have an easy way to play them anymore.
