Hey man, came here from your comment on my animation and read this. I know you know this, but you shouldn't really think about being 100% original. Like you've said, people do it all the time, we can clearly see it on Movies, they are all the fucking same, but I believe originality comes from using all the things that you love and adding you personal touch. Beacuse YOU are doing it there is never gonna be something exactly like it, it sounds corny as shit but it is true. Just do and do, who gives a fuck if it looks like someone elses work? eventually ones you can leave that behind and simply create without giving it to much thought you'll look back at your work and realize that it actually isn't like everything else, it will be something new.
One last thing, when I started to learn animation I wanted to create the habit of practicing a little bit every single day, so I've made some research and found a guy who shared his methods for free.
Long story short, he also gives a free PDF on how to unlock your creativity, to be honest I've only read it ones, but maybe it can be useful to you, who knows. I'm leaving the link so you can check it out if you are interested.
Fuck, I wasn't planning on writting this much, sorry about that.
That's all my friend, best of luck with everything. Be well.

Unrelated: I just happen to notice you saying to Shad, he seems to be the only one who draws "Creepy Susie" and well sir, one of the BEST folks who draws her, happens to be kindahornyart.tumblr.com he MAY have inspired Shad to do it as his design for her is quite popular and even Zone-sama has taken notice. Check it out, he does tons of hilarious and lewd artworks.

Whew, late reply since I haven't been around, but thanks a bunch for sharing this. It's great to see someone else drawing Susie. Maybe this IS where Shad got his inspiration.
